I don't get any crashes in any of my other games. But I'm still fascinated in what the hell can cause crashes in only some Geforce cards, that aren't even the same model, and apparently only in this game. I'm just looking at this from the technical point seeing as that is what I do for a living.Īll in all, it sucks.
FDev is still doing something to cause this issue to arise, I'm not shifting blame around. And if I have to make an educated guess it sounds like an issue on Nvidias side. According to what I've heard the devs are unable to actually find the cause of what makes the driver crash. As a developer myself I know the frustration of not being able to solve something like this. On a sidenote, while I'm upset I haven't really been able to play a game I bought a year ago, I understand this issue is obviously bigger than a simple bug in FDev's code. I'm on a i7 7700K and a Asus Sabertooth Z170 S. What motherboard and CPU do you have? It might be related to the MB drivers or something. Have confirmed with other people who also have the same issue that it's not a specific card that has the issue (I've got a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070, just fyi). For me it's definitely a driver crash because I can see it logged in Event Viewer. Although you can contact the support of Ludia, the support doesn’t always respond in english or promptly.I feel your pain.
